I was an East Coast wild child until my NASA engineer husband wrangled me into matrimony and relocated me to Houston—where the humidity is high and the tacos are worth it.

Now I live in Texas with my smarty-pants husband and two adorable kids, surviving on caffeine, sarcasm, and ADHD meds.

    I’ve got a master’s in Creative Writing from Bath Spa University in England (yes, it’s a real place), and once upon a time, I was a reporter, columnist, soccer coach and a professor of English Composition, Literature, and Humanities.
    These days, I spend my time making people fall in love and laugh hard enough to snort in public—ideally at the same time.

Because the world needs more swooning. And snorting.
